United Way of Clinton County, Iowa (UWCCI) has awarded prizes for its Winter Getaway Raffle at Citizens First Bank on Monday. With around 500 tickets sold this year and prizes valued at $2400, it’s one of their most important fundraisers of the year.
The grand prize winner, Megan Burns of Citizens First Bank (CFB), had the choice of an eight day/seven night stay at the luxury Scottsdale Camelback Resort in Arizona ($2000 value) or $1000 cash. Megan chose the cash prize and consequently the second place winner, Amy Tesar, also of CFB, was awarded the Getaway resort stay. Citizens First Bank provided raffle tickets to employees who pledged in their Workplace Giving program. CFB employees have participated in UWCCI Workplace Giving for over 20 years, with contributions of over $10,000 in the last three years.
Raffle grand prizes have been generously provided year after year by Air Control and Witt’s IT Care and has raised over $4000 for UWCCI’s Fall Campaign. United Way of Clinton County, Iowa fights for the Health, Education, and Financial Stability of every person in our Clinton County communities, by investing over $400,000 in local assistance programs such as Information Referral and Assistance, YWCA, Family Resources, and DeWitt Referral Center.
